+1 it's insane what we manage to pay for a wad of glue with a piece of coral burried in it.

The glue is from me, I remounted onto fresh clean 2" disks when they came in. But yes, sometimes we have to start with a small frag to get some of the best looking corals, hence to point of these grow out.

It really depends, some grow really slow, some faster. I get about 1 new eye every 1-2 months. I just changed bulbs that will be less PAR on the lower levels so I'm hoping that will help speed up growth and chalices like lower PAR.
