Why do you think you need a low spot? These were all on a rack about a foot or less below water getting plenty of light after being fragged and were open happy.

...... idk, last time i put the contest frag up high it fell off and into my bubble coral. i just moved it up into lil more flow. couple more hours till lights on tho.

I have yet to have any paly/zoa that did better in a higher spot compared to low spot.

Nuvo 8 w/ 9 3w LEDs
Fluval G3 w/ Chemipure Elite
Mp10 @ 20%, 100gph stock return, 285gph G3.
RKL w/ sl1 and ato
12 ish lb LR and 1" sandbed.
Two fish; eat mostly spectrum pellets, but I feed cyclopeeze. I also regularly dose Fuel.

I placed the frag on my rack for now. It's getting medium flow and higher light. No par meter so I'm not too sure. I really appreciate you guys donating to help me upgrade my tank. :) jk.

Ill have to disagree with that, a few of my nicer polyps wouldn't grow worth crap down low. Put them up high getting blasted 200+ PAR in HIGH flow area and they are thriving! I have a huge colony of dime sized Sunny D's growing in a spot you would expect to find SPS. And I have the colony rock from the Spring growout about 9" in front of my MP40 and less than a foot from my Tek 8 bulb fixture that colony couldn't be happier...

The trick I think for this contest is for people to figure out where the best place is for their frag to really thrive and pop babies out.

Placing the frag in high light is better. The polyp won't spend energy reaching for the light and will mat more. Hopefully producing more babies.
