I heard most ppl use the Tom's aqualifter. Thanks chewal and rockhead, seeing alot of success stories for the JBJ.
Have to get my own pump right?
Cool. Any reason why that specific one? is it a compatability issue?I heard most ppl use the Tom's aqualifter.
HAHAHAH sorry for the redundant response but I just looked it up.It's used because it is cheap and the rate of flow is very low
Yeah i was writing my post but you had already said the same thing minutes before.Didn't even notice that lol but yeah I don't have one I just read what other people use
Cool, will look into itNo problem. If you wanted to go higher quality go for one of the dosing pumps on brs- the slower one
Looked into the aqualifter pump, it's economical and 'safe'. Thanks.I have been running a jbj ato for the past 2.5 years with a tom's aqua lifter pump. Not a single issue to date. Knock on wood! It also shuts off after about a minute of pumping. So with that pump you have nothing to worry about with volume.
How long before the aqualifter diaphragm needed replacing?Been running a Jbj for 3-4 yrs and never had a problem only with the aqualift pump and that wasn't a big deal just needed new diaphragms put in just took forever to fill , it just keep running
Tom
But for the price of the aqua lift pump you could buy two of them and keep one for back upHow long before the aqualifter diaphragm needed replacing?
it is a very low rated gph, did ykou find issues with the time it took to fill?
True say!But for the price of the aqua lift pump you could buy two of them and keep one for back up
Tom
I can put it on the side table, where I put my aquarium paraphernalia, that would put the head height around 26".Can you put the pump on a shelf or make a stand closer to the top of your tank?
